I think the room could use a makeover, the location is great, but the structure, décor, furniture, and old tiles don’t match the surroundings; the whole Hotel Transamérica could be modernised, the restaurant feels very old, and a fresh décor would bring a new vibe. The food isn’t bad, but the menu is the same every day with little creativity.

The hotel has private parking on site, attentive staff, and a very good gym. The room is old‑style with a poorly done renovation, broken floorboards, a yellowed air conditioner that the owner needs to replace, an overly cramped bathroom and shower, an already old and dirty bathroom floor, an uncomfortable bed without a comforter, broken furniture in the room, and a breakfast that is bad, offering only bread, cheese, ham, cheese bread, and basic items, with no pastries or savouries, just one terrible wheat cake with heavy dough that seems to have been made with any kind of margarine. It does not justify the price paid.
