Rooms feature air‑conditioning, private bathrooms with bidets, minibars, and flat‑screen TVs. The on‑site Mediterranean restaurant provides vegetarian and gluten‑free dishes, complemented by a bar and coffee shop.

The welcome, the setting, the décor, the breakfast, and the quality of service were all great. The AC couldn’t be turned off, the Wi‑Fi was very weak, the pool was outside the property, and the restaurants were only accessible by car until the end of September.

When you walk through the door, you find a place that’s been cared for in detail, new, and decorated with great taste. The room is very pretty and comfortable. The homemade breakfast is abundant. The staff’s attention is 10/10. Definitely a place to return to. I couldn’t book the suite with a jacuzzi, so I’ll have to come back.

Our room wasn’t especially big but it was very pretty, and the stone construction and furnishings were clever and tasteful. The courtyard was nice and felt cozy and inviting. That was it! I don’t understand all those glowing reviews, sorry! When we booked, the website advertised a beautiful outdoor pool as a reason to choose this place. When we arrived, we were shocked – there was no pool. Instead we had to walk about 1 km to the entrance of the town, where we could use the pool at Residenza Aurora. That pool is public like a day‑pool and you also have to wear a swim cap! “Borgo Pascarosa” was squeezed between ugly, old, repair‑needed houses on the mountain, fenced off with a gate and a driveway. Parking had to be found on the street or the slope. There is no lobby to receive you. As a result, no staff were around all day and there was no service, neither during the day nor at night for food! The room cleaning could have been better; especially in the shower and at the sink. We didn’t feel that it was cleaned daily. Also, after the first day, the shower gel and shampoo were not refilled. Breakfast was held outdoors under a party tent. Next to it was a small kitchen area with a counter. There were 4 round tables with 4 chairs each. If it rained, you got wet. On sunny days, you were surrounded by wasps. A relaxed breakfast was impossible. There was no buffet where the food was nicely presented and you could choose. You had to serve yourself from the fridge and hope that the tiramisu, the dried cakes, and the cheese cream that had been there for 4 days were still good. After ham, cheese, or egg dishes, you had to ask. The fruit was fresh and appealing. Adriana, the “gem of the house,” cared lovingly for her guests, but when everyone was at breakfast she was completely overwhelmed. Too bad!

Nice property, but unfortunately disappointing service. The property itself is truly beautiful and the lovely courtyard actually invites you to sit and enjoy your stay. Unfortunately, this potential is severely diminished by the very limited service. Our arrival was extremely disappointing: when we got there, no one was on site to greet us. We received no information on how to get through the locked gate or into our room. We were literally standing in front of a closed door and didn’t know what to do. Only by chance did another guest let us in and then connected us to the owner. Without that help, we would probably have waited for hours outside the property. That is unacceptable for a booked accommodation from our point of view. During our stay, there was also a clear lack of personal service. Aside from breakfast, no food service was offered. There was no way to order a drink on site – neither during the day nor at night. The only option was the minibar in the room. Given the beautiful courtyard, it is very disappointing that you can’t sit comfortably there and, for example, order a glass of wine or another drink. Our overall impression was that the property lacked enough staff and, above all, organization and guest care. Bottom line: a very beautiful property with a lot of potential, but the missing service and especially the completely unorganized arrival have unfortunately marred our stay. Significant improvements are needed.
