Heart‑felt love for this youth hostel! We felt like we were sleeping in a fisherman's cabin, surrounded by water on all sides. The view of Fjallbacka was absolutely incredible, especially at dusk. If we ever return to Sweden, we’d go back to this place!

The location was incredible and the surroundings made our stay perfect. Close to the beach and easy for the kids to play outside. The kitchen is very basic, but it worked fine for our three days.

The location. There was no indication that the toilets were located outside in another building, 20 m from where we slept, so you had to have outerwear on if you needed to go to the toilet at night, and in the cold and rain, outside at night to the other building where you had to remember a code to get in. If I had known this, I would not have booked a room here. The kitchen was very small, so you had to wait in line in the morning to make breakfast. There were also not enough indoor tables and chairs. There were no knives to eat with. The hostel advertised that it had a sauna, but when we asked about it, we were told it was too expensive and difficult to start up.

We had a nice view of the city. The toilets are located in a building outside the bedroom where you sleep, so if you need to go at night you have to go out at night, it’s not lit to go to the toilet, security problem, tiny bed, when leaving you have to clean the room.
