A great place to stay as a base for exploring Lake Como. The apartment had everything we needed, the host was fantastic, and the location was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location is perfect. We took the train from Milan, and it was a short 5‑minute walk downhill, easy with luggage. The property was also a quick 2‑minute walk from the ferry and a 5‑to‑10‑minute scenic walk into downtown Varenna. The unit was so clean, cute, and had everything we needed. Our check‑in was at 2, but we arrived by train around 9:45 AM and had instructions from the Dolcebot team (property managers) about where to store our luggage on site, which felt safe and secure. Nadia stopped by and was very kind, letting us know to reach out if we needed anything. We were also pleasantly surprised to have lake views! The property looks just like the photos. Would stay here again! Nothing negative.

The location was good. The shower was good. It was nice to receive water and juice. I also liked that there was a conditioner to use. Too noisy; could hear people in other apartments. The main complaint is that the WIFI was unreliable—connections dropped and Netflix wouldn’t work on the TV. I contacted the host, who took a night to respond and offered advice we had already tried. Previous reviews show this is a common issue, so I’m unsure why the host hasn’t addressed it.

The attention to detail was appreciated. It is obvious the owner takes great pride in her guests’ happiness. Highly recommend! The only downside was that I had to leave.

The owners were incredibly friendly, checking in on us from time to time to see if everything was fine and asking if we needed anything. We were greeted with a bottle of prosecco and a few juice bottles in the fridge upon arrival, and they pointed us toward a great dinner spot that turned out to be a highlight of the trip. When we first got there, a few small problems cropped up, but the owners handled them quickly and made sure we were satisfied.
