I stayed in August 2024 and the apartment was spotless and well maintained, offering a stunning view of the ocean. We also enjoyed the rooftop plunge pool, which we used a lot. The place looked even better than in the pictures. Its location was convenient, just a short walk from Playa Cocos beach, which was often empty. Walking along the beach into town took about 30 minutes, but we usually took a taxi, which was easy to find and cost 300 Mexican pesos. The host was very helpful and responsive. However, when we arrived, the host mentioned a water issue that limited our water usage for the entire five-night stay. We were told to flush the toilet only when absolutely necessary, take quick showers, and limit dishwashing, which was not what we expected for a holiday. The problem wasn’t resolved during those five days, so it really affected our trip. The pool was lovely and the apartment stunning, but we had trouble sleeping at night because the pool filtration system made loud noises in both bedrooms. We asked if it could be turned off in the evenings, but the answer was no. After checking out, we were accused of damaging a table and a door that we had not touched.
