The place was well‑situated and the people were friendly, but it only operates in the morning. It gets noisy at night, keeping me from sleeping, and it would be nice if they offered drinking water.

“Great location, limited comfort, decent value for budget travelers”

The hotel sits in a central spot, within walking distance of all major sights and plenty of great food. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean. However, for a “Deluxe Quadruple Room” in a “4 star” hotel, the space was very cramped and the furnishings were sparse. The photos look better; it feels more like a nice hostel than a 4‑star property. Storage was minimal, the bathroom was purely functional, and the AC barely worked. After the staff reset it, it cooled but never reached the temperature set on the remote. We stayed on the third floor, no elevator, and the only way up is a narrow glass staircase that could be risky for older guests or those with heavy luggage. The bedding also mildly irritated my skin, causing itching.

The hotel sits in a tourist‑friendly area surrounded by souvenir shops, restaurants and cafés; although cars can’t pull up right in front, a taxi can be hailed a few metres away, and the staff were bright and helpful, with English‑speaking members guiding me on how to get hot water and how long it takes. The bathroom was spacious with a glass‑enclosed shower, and the room had a fridge, air‑conditioning, distinctive wallpaper and stone‑decorated walls. However, there’s no elevator, making luggage a hassle, some rooms have no windows, and those facing the busy street suffer from loud hallway chatter.
