The accommodation was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the property offers beautiful walks to rivers and waterfalls. We had a great time and didn’t need to go to Dullstroom to keep ourselves busy. The truck traffic on Friday night was especially heavy, and the noise was quite noticeable.

I’d recommend bringing your own firewood because the wood from Dullstroom tends to be a bit wet (in my experience). We brought dry wood with us, which worked out well.

We had a wonderful time at the Schaefers'Halt and stayed in the cozy cottage. The views were beautiful and the peace of mind was priceless. It was a cold weekend, but the cottage had a lovely fireplace and electric blankets that made the nights easy to get through. Thank you so much, Senette, for making us feel at home. No complaints.
