“Aanrader! Fijn verblijf in leuke accommodatie”
I stayed in the heart of the city, with the train and bus station just about a 5‑minute walk away, and plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops nearby. The room was small but spotlessly clean and had all the basic comforts: a good bed, a fan, a table with air‑conditioning, and electric heating. The pension had a charming authentic Portuguese vibe, and the host was quick to respond, friendly and gave clear instructions for self‑check‑in. The kitchen was well equipped for making coffee, tea or a simple meal, and there was a rooftop terrace for outdoor seating. The shared bathroom was clean upon arrival and there was enough space to use it quietly. For those sensitive to noise, ear‑plugs were provided. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely book again if I’m in Faro. The only downside was that the trash bins were full on the day I left and seemed not to have been emptied since my arrival during my 2‑night stay. The hallway lighting could have been better, and it appeared the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned in between my arrival and departure. Noise from outside cafés, restaurants and from other guests was present; I didn’t mind it, but it might bother someone else.
