The hotel’s central location and pleasant staff were positives, but the value for money didn’t match; the photos misrepresented reality. The old hotel room had wall and curtain stains, peeling wallpaper, and mismatched furniture. The sink was so tiny that brushing teeth was difficult, and the overhanging shelf made it worse. We also smelled the tavern’s kitchen odor in the room.

We appreciated the friendliness and service of the staff, especially Dirk and Chef Stefan; the quality and quantity of the food were extraordinary, and the marille schnapps (burned according to a house recipe) was very good; Stefan’s new, freshly labeled version tasted just as good 😜. The room service, however, unfortunately neglected our room 🙈.

The restaurant food was excellent, but the room wasn’t cleaned daily and didn’t receive fresh towels.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! :) Unfortunately, our bathroom still had a lot of hair from previous guests.

The staff were mostly very friendly. The bed was saggy, the pillows too high, the room was very warm, the towel was dirty (dead spider on it), street noise was loud with the window open, the sink was barely usable because of its tiny size and the shelf directly above it, the rude reminder just after 9 am that breakfast was over (breakfast was until 9:30 am), and the soda in the vending machine had expired.
