“Chambre confortable”

The room was large, with a small bathroom and a private kitchenette, which was very appreciated. The bedding was comfortable, the owner was responsive and gave good advice, and we could leave our bags in a small locker before catching our flight after checkout (a later checkout option would be great). The neighborhood is nice, with plenty of shops, cafés, etc., easily reachable by transport and far from the tourist crowds of the historic center. The fridge in the room and the apartment’s heating unit were very noisy at night, and arriving alone, even with clear explanations, is always less pleasant than being greeted by people.

The room was lovely, very clean, modern and had a great shower with plenty of hanging space and storage; the air‑con worked well. The breakfast, however, felt more like a handful of pre‑packed cakes, with no toaster or bread, and only one carton of juice in the fridge for four apartments, which was disappointing. In the hallway there was little information about local attractions, taxis or buses, and the book in the process was long‑winded and stressful since you only get one chance to open the door. The address and front door were not clearly sign‑posted.
