The place was clean, quiet, and peaceful, and the host was super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was provided, there were plenty of soft blankets, and gas heat was available if it got cold—everything was spot on. I loved it, but there were a few minor issues: ants were everywhere in the house, the bed made a lot of noise because of the wood underneath, and the geyser was cold; they tried to warm it, but it only works with solar power and there was no sun. Those small things aside, I still loved everything.

I liked the cottage’s design and aesthetics, and the peace and quiet were great. However, the staff seemed passive‑aggressive when I invited two friends over for a braai on the second day. I admit I could have communicated better with the host, but after that I didn’t feel welcome.
