The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, and is close to Fischbeker Heide Nature Reserve and Altes Land marshland. Restaurants and Hamburg Neugraben S-Bahn Station are within walking distance, providing easy access to the harbour and A1 motorway.

The staff at breakfast (Sun., Wed. and Thu.) offered a good selection. We had a quiet stay, and without that breakfast staff the rating would have been lower. The electronic check‑in replaced the personnel, which felt impersonal as no one was there to greet us. There is no key; everything is done with the smartphone. The hotel advertises itself as family‑run, but that wasn’t evident to me. The lighting in room 106 is quite dark.

The lovely breakfast with attention to detail, friendly staff, and we were very impressed by the receptionist on 11.9 around 13:00 and the kind older lady with gray hair at breakfast on 12.9 😍👌👍.
