Nothing. The worst hotel I’ve stayed in had to move me rooms four times, and after that, the place was dirty and horrible; it felt like it should shut down. I was moved the next day, spoiling my partner’s anniversary. Nothing at all.

Breakfast was fine if you liked a fry‑up, but if you didn’t, the lack of variety—just a different jam from marmalade and maybe some yogurts—was disappointing. No choice.

I was impressed by the food and the manager’s brilliance, but the staff seemed utterly indifferent—except for the manager. The rooms were dirty, the bathroom was broken, and 14 people had to walk in and out because no one was at the bar. We spent 10 minutes upstairs, downstairs, and in the restaurant calling for someone, and nobody showed up. It felt like the staff just didn’t want to be there. Still, the food was good and the location lovely.

The location was great, and my room and shower were clean. The rest of the building needed some work, and checking in late was a hassle.
