We ran into a few minor housekeeping hiccups, but the staff were quick to fix them and stayed attentive. After that, the service was solid, and everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooms stayed clean, and even though there was some remodeling going on, the noise never got in the way.

The room was clean and cozy. I had to leave at 7, so the breakfast was a bit early for me, and the coffee maker wasn’t working properly.

The lobby and breakfast area looked great, and I especially liked the coffee machines—nothing beats a fresh cup over an old pitcher. The staff were always warm when I entered the building. However, I had a handful of issues: first, I wasn’t told beforehand that the hotel was under construction, which caused me unnecessary worry when I parked. Second, the elevator floor was in bad shape and posed a tripping hazard for me, since I have mobility problems. Third, there was no trash bin in my bathroom. Fourth, I paid for a room that could sleep four, but the balcony only had seats for two.
