The staff were friendly and great, the sea view was beautiful, and the food was dream‑like. There were a lot of kids.

I enjoyed a high‑quality dinner with a varied menu and a good regional wine list, and the room was spacious enough for a family of three (no balcony). The historic 1895 ambience was breathtaking, and the staff worked hard to preserve and expand the property. Breakfast was great, and we felt very comfortable. Every department’s staff handled everything well. Many families were spread out thanks to the many outdoor options: an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, and a private beach area with loungers and umbrellas that was very valuable. A playground would be nice, but the kids still had fun on the large grounds. The overall offering was simply round, with wellness, yoga, and lectures available. We really enjoyed it and will come back.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the caretaker Christian!

The hotel itself was excellent, beautiful. We really liked everything – the facilities and the garden were gorgeous. Both breakfast and dinner were wonderful, truly top quality. The pool was great, also perfect for kids. The beach was fine, with a beach bar and loungers reserved for hotel guests. We’ll definitely come back; the overall experience fit well. The only small issues: in summer only one room category was available for 2 adults + 2 kids, but we were 5, so I had to choose a family room for 4 people (our 4‑year‑old daughter still sleeps in our bed), otherwise I couldn’t book. At arrival I immediately said we were 5 and our daughter slept in our bed. I then learned on site that the free stay and half‑board offer only applied to 2 kids; the third child had to pay. So we had to pay an extra 40 € per night for our 4‑year‑old daughter on top of the already high summer rates. I expected a bit more flexibility. Although the hotel states that smoking is not allowed, people do smoke on the restaurant terrace and by the pool, which isn’t ideal with kids.
The staff were very friendly, the food tasty, and the rooms clean. The only downside was the long walk to the beach.
