The location isn’t bad, it’s right next to the Vatican, close to a train station and a supermarket. The staff were very helpful, especially Carlos who contacted me via WhatsApp to give all the necessary information, and we appreciated that they let us leave our luggage on the floor the last day. However, the room was too small for four people, the cleaning—especially in the bathroom—could be much better, and for the price we paid it doesn’t feel worth it. There was a lot of noise; everything from other rooms could be heard because it’s a floor with multiple rooms.

My stay at Holiday San Pietro was extremely disappointing. The room was in an unacceptable condition and should not have been offered to guests. The walls were dirty, the furniture was damaged and worn out, and the bathroom showed signs of mold and poor cleanliness. Even though it was a “Basic” room category, there should still be minimum standards of hygiene, maintenance, and respect for guests. The difference between a simple room and a neglected, deteriorated one is significant. I strongly believe that rooms in this condition should not be rented out until they have been properly renovated and cleaned. Please be more careful about the accommodations you promote and ensure they meet acceptable quality standards. No traveler should have to face such an experience.
