I met a cat briefly, which was a highlight, but the street parking was a nightmare; they told me it was first‑come, first‑served, and after finding a spot I was immediately blocked in for hours by residents. The sink was broken, the microwave was a disaster, and there was exposed ceiling outside the door. The bed had springs poking up and the stairs were not ideal. I ended up not staying any of the two nights I had booked and paid for, and had to find other accommodations.

The experience was absolutely terrible: the place was extremely dirty, damp, and disgusting, with black and red mold everywhere on the walls and in the bathroom. The kitchen was so filthy it was unusable, and the sofa in our room was broken—really just a thin mat on the floor. The room was very small, cold, and damp, making it impossible to sleep.

“It was ok I guess”

I never met the hostess in person, but when I emailed her about a concern she responded quickly. The building is old and needs some TLC; the key box never worked, so I worried someone could enter my room while I was on a tour. I also never saw the cats, which was disappointing.
