“Hotel Management took responsibility to rectify our ordeal”

The location and the exterior views are great. The sea‑view room actually had a large tree outside the window, so the view was limited to just the front of the window. The interior feels outdated, and the worst part was that when I turned on my lamp, it fell on my head. In the restaurant, the Medium‑Minus Filet Mignon was nearly well‑done, and when I sent it back, the waiter returned with the same plate, asking on behalf of the chef what was wrong! We wanted medium‑minus, and then we found a picture from the internet to show what a medium‑minus steak looks like. The new steak was then delivered under‑cooked, raw in the middle – but since the others had already eaten during this “show”, it was eaten as much as could.

The hotel is low‑key, pretty, with good rooms and local food. The staff seemed a bit tired and disengaged. There was some mess at the bar counter and reception.

The atmosphere was beautiful and the rooms were tidy, and the food was decent. But it was way too pricey; I’d rather have seen it as a guesthouse than a hotel. The staff were rigidly polite, and it felt like they didn’t really care about guests.

I loved everything about the Brudhall—from its prime spot to the friendly staff, the stellar dinner and breakfast menus, the cozy, spotless rooms, and the calm, fuss‑free vibe. Patrick I did wish I could have stayed longer.

The hotel’s look and feel were great, and the upper‑floor room offered good views. Breakfast was fine. A group of people on a boat stayed for a long time and were noisy.
