“Espectacular”

Everything we needed was there, we rested perfectly, the room was very clean, the showers hot, and the breakfast complete with the best coffee I’ve tasted in Peru, made by the same owner. The host was really kind, offered to take us to the hot springs and the next day to continue the Salkantay trek at a good price. One of the best lodgings on the trail, worth detouring a bit to Santa Teresa.

“Blitzsaubere Unterkunft mit tollem Service”

We chose this place for its many good reviews and can confirm they’re 100 % true. Mario is a genuinely nice and attentive host, the accommodation is spotless, the beds very comfortable, and you get a beautiful mountain view. Breakfast was also very good – fresh‑pressed orange juice, omelette, avocado, coffee, and fresh bread. We trekked the Hydroelectrica and spent a night and a day in Santa Teresa. We booked two rooms with Mario because we were four with two kids. Santa Teresa is a nice spot with a few restaurants and especially the truly dreamy hot springs. We liked them so much we visited twice – Mario drove us back and forth both times. His restaurant recommendations were excellent. Absolute recommendation!

Mario was very welcoming and attentive. The only downside was noise from the nearby stadium.
