Mountain Abode Studio

“Exceeded all expectations — comfortable, quiet, well-equipped and hosted to perfection.”

We can't praise Mountain Abode enough. From the moment we arrived it felt just right. It’s a beautiful, quiet retreat that’s thoughtfully designed and fully equipped. The beds are incredibly comfortable, everything is top quality, and the whole place is peaceful. Our host was fantastic—clear, caring communication that made everything effortless. If you’re going to Methven, this is the place to stay. Five stars without hesitation. We’ll return!

“Best Holiday home to stay for couples”

My partner and I absolutely adored this spot—perfect for couples, and we never imagined a place would come with an airfryer, a mobile stove, and a toaster. The room was warm, comfortable, and spacious, and my partner was thrilled to find tampons and other feminine supplies. We had intended to stay another night but it was too late to extend. We’ll definitely book here again and probably stay longer next time.

The host was lovely, the place was very cozy and close to the pools, and we were within walking distance of many great restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay; the property has many thoughtful touches and the hosts have arranged everything beautifully. It was truly special.
