Located in Palo Alto, the Sheraton Palo Alto Hotel offers a tranquil resort-like atmosphere, 5 minutes from Stanford University and Central Palo Alto. The hotel features an outdoor pool, on-site bar and restaurant, and beautifully landscaped gardens with koi ponds, water fountains, and tropical plants. Guests enjoy flat-screen TVs, refrigerators, and free bottled water in spacious rooms, along with en suite bathrooms and deluxe amenities.

The windows can't be opened, so the air inside the room is poor; cleaning was irregular, usually after 5 pm, and my credit card was charged for services I never used, so I won't be recommending this hotel.

Location of the hotel is good for those who go to Stanford University - a 25 minutes please walk through the park and you are there. Hotel has very good coffee stand with Starbuck coffee choices. It also has a decent pool but we did not used it. We booked large room with balcony over the swimming pool area but we were told that they are not available and gave us 1st are room with patio instead. It was at the very far corner of the facility in very dark area. We really did not like it and never used the patio : it simply not appealing

Customer service was excellent, letting us check out late and providing on‑site parking after we left. They were very helpful in every way. Room 1028 is not ideal – it sits right on the corner of a major thoroughfare and across the hall from the fitness center, so hallway noise pours straight into the room.

As a Marriott property owner, I usually get upgrades at every hotel, but at this one we arrived to find no water in the room. Breakfast was not included in the lounge I’m used to, and when we returned late the staff hadn’t prepared it. For the price I paid, the service felt wrong.
