The room was okay, and I liked that it was actually right by the beach. The breakfast selection was very limited, and the lights would go out for a long time; I’m not sure they have a generator since electricity is an issue in Zanzibar.

The location was practically on the beach. A few times there was a lack of electricity right after arriving from the beach. Otherwise the electricity was constant.

The spot is amazing, right on one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, and breakfast is served right on the sand. The upstairs restaurant offers a decent “Italian” menu that I find acceptable. On the beach you can hop on any excursion thanks to the beach boys, and the owner is very helpful with taxis and late check‑outs. Nothing to complain about.

It’s literally on the beach, a great spot. Breakfast is served on the veranda every morning, cooked fresh. It would have helped to have a few more hand‑hold bars in the bathroom.

The location was excellent, the price good for budget travelers, and the staff were friendly. The overall upkeep of the property could be better, the breakfast was very basic, and the outdoor areas—like the beach lounge with sunbeds and the balconies for breakfast—needed more cleaning.
