Even though I’d paid by credit card in advance, the owner forced me to cancel the booking after midnight and insisted on cash payment. Four women had to get up at 5 am, and if we didn’t accept, he clearly said he couldn’t host us. We had booked the first and last night of our trip there, contacted Booking, but had to book the last night elsewhere because we felt unsafe. We’re still waiting for a refund from Booking, which has not responded by email or phone (38 € communication fee from Egypt because the platform is in England). My e‑SIM didn’t work in France, adding extra costs. The owner doesn’t reply to Booking, and it’s not the client’s fault to pay. This hotel should not be listed on Booking.

We were waiting for a refund after a horrible first night; the owner demanded cash payment even though we’d already paid by card. We spent an hour in the hallway being threatened that we wouldn’t be accommodated if we didn’t accept the conditions.

“Value for money due to the location.”

It was in a good spot and the host was kind, friendly, and did his best, but the place was dirty: hair from previous guests on our beds and floors. Breakfast was simple with bread, ham, cheese, and some tomatoes.

The apartment is nice, the double bed is very large, and it’s good for five people.

We were very well welcomed. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and well decorated, located ideally but on a lively street… It’s close to all amenities but noisy for those used to quiet. The only downside was the noise.
