Located on the Rogue Umpqua Scenic Byway, Edgewater Inn Shady Cove offers a seasonal outdoor pool and hot tub. Each room features free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a work desk, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and ironing facilities. Guests can fish from the hotel's fishing/observation deck or use the indoor fitness centre. Nearby attractions include Arrowhead River Adventures (13 minutes), Eagle Point Golf Club (12 miles), and Crater Lake National Park (1 hour).

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, but because it was mostly empty we ended up in a room right behind the stairwell with an overflowing garbage can, a noisy ice machine, and a view of a tree and the stairwell; I suspect people booking online might end up in similar rooms.

Whenever I visit Shady Cove I stay here because the river view and location are simply awesome.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly, and the pool provided a nice escape from the heat, but I wish they offered some sort of breakfast; they don’t have to provide a free one, but at least something for purchase would be nice.

The location was handy after a visit to Crater Lake, but the room was only average for the price, and the noisy neighbors coming and going and talking right outside our door late at night were not great.
