The host was friendly, the property beautiful, and the food good. The bed was noisy, the low bathroom door was a bit of a hassle at night. Even though the food was tasty, it felt like a pile of leftovers, which surprised us—maybe because we were the only guests. We wonder how it would have felt with more people around.

A warm welcome, dinner in the evening was truly delightful with Sicilian specialties that were very flavorful and the setting was lovely. The only downside was breakfast, which was only sweet and somewhat limited.

From the moment we arrived, Giuseppe, his two dogs, and his cat greeted us warmly. The house has a lot of charm and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. In the evening Giuseppe cooked us a typical Sicilian meal that was the best we’ve ever had—tasty and very filling. We slept soundly that night because it was so quiet. We’ll definitely come back.
