The location was quiet and the closeness to the beach was a bonus, and the breakfast on the beach at Gina’s was lovely too.

“Leider keine Empfehlung in der Nebensaison”

Our room was very nice and extremely well equipped, cleaned every day and the cleanliness was truly outstanding; unfortunately we arrived during the off‑season and a construction site right next to the room produced intermittent loud noises from daytime into the evening, and because the hotel has an open entrance the motor sounds at night were sometimes quite loud. On top of that, a corrugated‑iron roof over the balcony collected falling fruit during rain and storms, creating additional noise that kept my husband awake most nights. The rainy season also meant the beach was unattractive, so we had to hunt for better spots on a scooter. Breakfast consisted of a plate with two fried eggs, bacon, salad and two sausages, plus toast, jam, fruit, a cup of instant coffee and a glass of juice, with no other options, and we only ate it once.

“Die Bungalows waren schön, aber das schlimmste Hotel was ich in Thailand gesehen habe”

After I re‑booked the room, it was very nice, but I had to pay an additional 9000 Baht. The other room was above a construction site. Breakfast was a disaster, and the evening menu felt like it was in Italy.

The beach was nearby, the area had bars and restaurants, and the staff were welcoming. Unfortunately, there were works underway, so the hotel restaurant was less quiet.

“Schönes kleines Hotel direkt am Strand mit riesigen Zimmern und freundlichem Personal”

The room was huge and packed with plenty of large storage spaces everywhere. A lovely balcony with seating offered a nice view of the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A highlight was that the owner, Gina, hung a breakfast in front of our door because we had to leave before the official breakfast time – thank you, Gina, that was really kind and saved us a morning at the airport :). We would come back. The only downside was the lack of Thai food, so we ate elsewhere at night even though the beachfront location was great. That’s just our personal “problem” – we refuse to fly from Europe to Thailand and then eat European food there ;-)
