This place is a quiet little gem, perfect for dog owners. Our two pups – a feisty yorkie and a 7‑month‑old red healer – loved the spacious porch, and Victor was patient with our “grumpy” guest who tried to snap at him. We all had a great time.

The location was lovely; from the terrace we spotted plenty of birds, even a toucan, and there was a sloth hanging around the front garden. Victor, the host, was kind and eager to help, though his English was limited, which made communication a bit tricky. The room itself was clean, but the bathroom had a nasty smell and the kitchen wasn’t very tidy, so the place felt a little past its prime. Not terrible, just not what we’d hoped for.

Set right in the middle of the forest, the spot is surrounded by wildlife and total tranquility. Victor was super friendly and always ready to assist, which we appreciated. The only downside was the lack of hot water, but with the heat outside, a cool shower felt refreshing enough.

The owner was extremely welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The location is perfect for getting away from tourist crowds and diving straight into primary forest right from the garden. It felt like a true nature immersion.
