“Spacious room, great onsen, amazing food, friendly staff, love the free massage chair”
The room was roomy for one person, and the bedding was comfortable. Public and private onsen were available, but I only used the private one. The food was amazing, and every staff member I met was friendly. The coin laundry was cheap and efficient, and they even offered a free massage chair. During check‑in, the reception confirmed your next‑day plan to ensure breakfast timing worked and arranged a shuttle to the bus stop if needed. Nothing else really stood out. The only issue might be the location: there’s a bus stop just for the hotel, but you still have to walk about 3‑5 minutes uphill from it. The main onsen area is the next stop, roughly a 15‑minute walk according to Google Maps, and it’s a road for vehicles without pedestrian access if I remember correctly. Because of this, I didn’t have a chance to visit the shrine in the main onsen area for a stamp, but others who plan well probably won’t find it a big problem.
