I loved the staff; they were very helpful. There was a cockroach in the room and no lift.

The staff were nice, and the front desk was considerate. The rooms were clean. There was no ramp and no elevator (though it was acceptable because the staff were considerate enough not to assign higher floors). There was no telephone to call the receptionist.

The staff were helpful, but the cleaning and maintenance were lacking; insects of various kinds were found throughout the hotel, even in the rooms, so professional pest control is needed, and the air conditioner feels ancient and makes a lot of noise.

The room was acceptable, and the hotel sits in a good central spot near the beach, mall, and airport; the toilet had likely been renovated recently, but the rest of the bathroom was old and unattractive. The bathroom was mediocre and outdated, the mirror was broken, the bathroom door wouldn’t close, and despite the heater there was no hot water. Staff promised repairs but nothing was fixed, and the photos don’t match reality—typical of a Red Doorz hotel.
