“In need of some significant updates”

The views from the hotel were stunning, and the lady at the front desk was lovely, but that’s about all the hotel had going for it. The owner should really invest in new mattresses and towels – these are upgrades that a hotel should consider essential. Towels, in particular, are not an enormous cost but would make a world of difference.

The view was good. Breakfast was terrible… my ring was taken from my room. I called, but the manager didn’t reply.

“Would not visit this location again, or recommend it unless it gets updated and some issues taken care of”

The location was fine, but the carpet in the room was filthy, and the drapes had so many tiny holes that the sun just shone through them. The balcony banister had paint peeling off and needed repainting. On the balcony there were a black and a white rocking chair; the black one fell apart, with the bottom rocker crumbling off one side. The elevator was so dark you couldn’t see inside, and for what we paid we deserved a better room and better facilities.

The coffee pots weren’t labeled and there wasn’t much breakfast to choose from – I only wanted coffee. The elevator was on the outside and very dark, with poor lighting.

The balcony offered a great view, but the desk clerk was extremely pleasant and helpful when I arrived.
