“Amazing stay”

The property and location are awesome, the host is great, the place is sparkling clean, the terrace has a smoking zone, the backyard restaurant is nice, and it’s a short distance from the railway station, but there’s no supermarket nearby.

We didn’t have breakfast, but the food still had good taste and aroma; we had to eat healthily according to doctors’ instructions. We were lucky to have nice, warm weather with a great view on short hikes. We also drove to the nearby historic town of Kežmarka (castle + wooden chapel, a UNESCO site). Even though we were there for four days, we admired the restored cottages, pensions, and hotels that had previously been in ruins. We love the Tatras because we’ve been visiting them since the 1990s (21st century) until our last trip in 2016. It would be helpful to describe the parking entrance before arrival so drivers know which side to enter from (preferably from the Štrbské Pleso direction).

A lovely little vila located in a peaceful stretch of Novy Smokovec, minutes walk from the train station and the old town. The room was large, beautifully decorated with a balcony overlooking the mountains. We haven't seen the owner but she was very responsive on the phone and check-in/check out was easy. Very recommended
