It was okay, but the bed was comfortable and good 👍🏻. The room’s lighting was too dark, and the breakfast area was cramped with tables set too close together; twice, people slipped their bottoms over my table while I was eating…

The room was spotless and cozy, and the spot was convenient—just a short walk to the metro once we found it. Breakfast had a lot of salad, which we didn’t like. We had to push when they asked us to pay extra for decaf tea; I’m caffeine‑intolerant and the only decaf was on a separate menu not included in the breakfast ticket. That got sorted eventually, and the next morning a cup of decaf tea was waiting for me. Overall the hotel was nice.

The location was great—close to the Tokyo train station and the Otemachi tube station. The bathrooms were large for Tokyo standards, and the rooms were a comfortable size with very cozy pillows. They even kept our bags while we went hiking and returned them when we came back to stay five days later.
