Spacious rooms boast light colours, flat-screen TVs, and tea/coffee makers. The hotel offers a varied breakfast buffet, restaurant serving local cuisine, and café-bar. Nearby attractions include Bilbao Old Town, Etxebarria Park, and the Guggenheim Museum, with Bilbao Airport 15 minutes away.

The hotel was okay, but the reception staff were not very welcoming. The bar staff were good. The lady in charge of the restaurant was very good—welcoming, helpful, and very attentive, even though she had a large party of Americans dining, she looked after us very well. Reception staff were not great. Other staff didn’t speak. The room was okay but not as clean as it should have been: dirty curtains, mold around the air‑con and heating ducts. Only herbal tea and coffee were offered in the complimentary drinks tray; no breakfast tea or black tea. Towels were very poor and worn.

The hotel sits in a convenient spot and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the bathrooms were nice. However, the hotel promotes itself as having two swimming pools and a gym with a sauna, yet we discovered upon arrival that each use costs 20 €—that’s ridiculous. Paying guests shouldn’t have to pay extra for the hotel’s own facilities.
