The property was spotless and the room enormous, the breakfast was fine, it was wonderfully quiet and you could relax in the garden, the owner was super friendly, we had a car full of stuff so we parked in her garage, she parked her own car on the street, it’s a gorgeous spot, and the Italian restaurant was just a 15‑minute walk away. The only drawback was that there was no door leading directly to your accommodation.

The house itself is exceptionally charming, yet the real highlight is Michelle, the owner; meeting and chatting with her turns out to be the unexpected highlight of the weekend—take time to talk with her at breakfast, you won’t regret it!

La Chaumière is lovely and charming, very well maintained with its surrounding garden, nicely decorated, and Michelle is very friendly and attentive. The bedroom and bathroom are very spacious, impeccably clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Our stay was unfortunately too brief, but we would love to return if the opportunity arises!
