The room, bathroom all good. Beach was a beach! No lifeguard, though, and that gave me some concern as I watched a dad with several small children jumping into the waves, one little girl was off from the others. *I liked the convenience of the restaurant being on property. customer service needs work. I booked and requested a room closer to the elevator. I've had 6 surgeries on my knee and there's ONLY 1 ELEVATOR for such a large property. Sent us to 288. LONG walk. I wanted to save my "walking" for the beach. I called from that room and said I had requested a room closer to the elevator, and whoever answered said too quickly "there's nothing in the notes about that". She said room 240 had a balcony overlooking the beach, it has a balcony overlooking the atrium. I sent Janinna the 2 emails , 1 a request for the room closer to the elevator, and the other confirming the request from the hotel. She was off yesterday when we were checking out. The woman that checked us out was abrupt, and not up to Hilton standards. I even said to her "why didn't you ask if we enjoyed our stay" BLANK STARE. without using curse words (they sometimes prove the point better) she didn't give a damn. I don't often get to a beach resort to relax. My experience from start to finish sucked. I would like to hear from management
