The hotel sits on a beautiful canal that you can stroll along to reach many sights. It’s quiet and understated, and the staff are very helpful. It’s a 15‑minute walk from the main train station and close to local transport for exploring Kyoto. Nothing else to add.

They pay close attention to detail and guests, and give detailed instructions in English unlike most hotels; the location is excellent and the room is nice, clean, and spacious.
