“Pésima gestión nocturna, falta de ropa de cama básica y justificaciones contradictorias”

I stayed at Casa Roma this weekend. I arrived at midnight (the access is automatic by mobile) and when I was about to sleep I discovered that the bed had no duvet, blanket or comforter, just a sheet in the middle of autumn. I called the incident/emergency phone: the first operator told me he would try to solve it and call me back; after 30 minutes of waiting, he never called. When I called again at 00:30, another person told me there was no one available in the building and to wait until the next day. I went to the front desk myself to see if anyone was there and it was completely empty. The next morning, the reception staff confirmed that the phone service had failed, because they did have a guard on duty that the phone support should have notified. The worst part was the written response from management denying compensation: they claim that “they do not consider the lack of a comforter an emergency” and argue that “we have a concierge at the entrance to attend to our guests’ needs.” It’s outrageous that they justify their mistake by inventing the presence of a concierge: I personally went down to check and it was empty, and I have the hotel’s own arrival instructions in writing stating that from 21:00 there is no one available at the hotel, something that the phone support itself confirmed that night. Providing bedding is basic hospitality. Total neglect, a cold night and false excuses to avoid responsibility. I do not recommend it.

Very good service from the staff, everything was very clean, comfortable, especially the bed, the facility itself is very beautiful and the buffet breakfast very varied and tasty. The air conditioning could not be controlled, which made the room a bit warm.

The room was spacious, the bathroom was very complete and comfortable, the facilities in general. A bit far from the center, in the area it is hard to find restaurants or cafés if the shopping center is closed, which was the case. Parking is far.
