“Charmante Unterkunft im wunderschönen Galaxidi”

The historic house has been renovated with a lot of style and taste. Inside, it is charming with designer pieces, bright and friendly. The location is great, close to the harbor, not far from the beach, cafés, and taverns. I find it very unfortunate that the landlords are hardly ever met in person, and communication is only through door codes and messages. The travel experience feels very impersonal.

Check‑in was easy and the apartment we booked was as nice as expected. We stayed for five nights, and after two days the host offered a cleaning service (which we didn't need) and instead gave us fresh water and coffee capsules. The apartment is only about five minutes from the nice little port, and the next swimming spots are only around fifteen minutes across from the port, where one can find several nice little coves.

Just a few minutes' walk to the port, where plenty of restaurants and shops make it a convenient spot; dining and resting in the shaded terrace was very comfortable.

We stayed on the ground floor while our friends were on the first, and our room felt more like a bunker with a tiny window—booking had no photos of it, so it’s not recommended or for sale. The only highlight was the terrace. The room was claustrophobic and dim; the owner was very unfriendly and ignored calls and messages, and we never received fresh towels.
