The bed was delightful, we could brew coffee and tea, the bathroom was fine, and it was very quiet. The French breakfast included coffee, croissants, pain au chocolat, and a slice of baguette. After dark we still wanted to eat somewhere, which meant a fifteen‑minute drive to a further village.
