The location was good and the price was cheap, so I didn't expect much. In the bathroom (which has a private shower next to the room), the shower was above the sink and toilet, and the fixtures were rusty and worn out. The chemicals used had a strong, unpleasant smell.

The location was good.
I’ve been back to this hostel twice, which proves it met all my expectations. The location is great and the staff are friendly. I stayed in a six‑bed dormitory on the top bunk; the ladder was too narrow to climb and the handhold was small, so getting down at night was awkward.
The only negative was the smell and the dirtiness.

The hotel is well located close to the center, and for a few extra euros I could upgrade to a private room. The door at the bottom was left open and the entrance door was not very secure, especially at check‑out when you just leave the keys on the counter… I didn’t dare leave my bag, so I walked around with it.
