“Une nuit sous tension et un départ incertain (batteries de vélos déchargées)”
The breakfast is very good in a nice space (fresh products are much appreciated, the dining room is beautiful) and the house is quiet. The proximity between the two rooms and the large shower is nice. The reception was cold: they outright refused to charge electric bike batteries at the house even though we arrived at nightfall and had no outlet to continue our itinerant trip the next morning. They directed us to the Mairie de Soulignonnes for charging, which immobilised us for a few hours, but we met some nice people. Lack of hospitality: we couldn’t use the kitchen to eat the few groceries we had left (bread, comté, yogurt); instead they offered us a dedicated jacuzzi area, which was not accommodating. Access: we had trouble finding the house because the perimeter was not properly covered by Google Maps, so we ended up in the middle of a field with no landmarks (our fault, lack of anticipation of the surroundings) > plan to arrive during the day! Rooms: we were four adult women and got one adult room with one double bed 160cm and one children's room with one double bed 140cm > check bed sizes.
