This is a four-star hotel with everything you could imagine; luggage is brought to the room, breakfast is very varied, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom suits Europeans well. Cleaning was daily, the air‑conditioner worked, and the pool was available; we mentioned a wish and they took care of it. The location is quiet in a side street yet close to the garden, about 1 km to the entrance. The only downside was the lack of European bread at breakfast, but that’s just how it is in all of Indonesia.

The location is perfect, just like the friendly staff, though it was a bit noisy and the breakfast selection felt limited.

Breakfast was good, but we were assigned a room on the 2nd floor, had to take the elevator up and then the stairs down. Because one of us can’t use stairs, we were moved to a different room that was smaller than what we booked, and the shower was in the bathtub. We left the next day.
