Breakfast was wonderful, and Carlo was interesting and helpful. It was tricky getting the luggage up the stairs, and parking was tight, but Carlo came down and parked the car for us. 😊

Carlo and Tiziana are incredibly attentive, great, lovable hosts with passion without being intrusive. We enjoyed excellent tips for outstanding restaurants. The room was super clean, spacious, with an amazing terrace and a beautiful view over Bologna’s rooftops. We’ll come back! There is nothing that could have been better.

We spent two fantastic nights at Residenza Palazzo Marchesini with our daughter, and it was simply amazing from start to finish. The location couldn’t be more central. The B&B sits inside a stunning old palazzo filled with antique furnishings that give it real character and charm. The rooms have air conditioning, which was wonderful during the summer heat. The panoramic terrace offers a breathtaking view over Bologna’s rooftops, a place you never want to leave. Carlo welcomed us warmly, even giving wonderfully detailed parking instructions ;-). The breakfast was marvelous, no wish left unfulfilled. Carlo and Tiziana went above and beyond with restaurant and shop recommendations and even made reservations for us (which were excellent), and Carlo has created his very own app for a self‑guided tour of the city. All in all, Bologna is truly wonderful, and Carlo and Tiziana are a big part of why. Thank you so much for everything.

The authentic feel of Bologna with the necessary modern facilities, a beautiful palazzo that feels like stepping back in time, and two super friendly owners who know everything about Bologna and give great tips to make your stay memorable. We’ll definitely come back. The owners and the palace are in the center.

Carlo was probably the best B&B host we’ve ever had. His attention to detail made this stay incredible and the house itself is beautiful. The location is hard to beat for exploring central Bologna. The information he provides on arrival about what to see or do makes it so that you almost don’t have to plan your time in Bologna before you arrive. Breakfast in the morning was well done, personalized, and delicious. He also has relationships with some of the better restaurants in the area and can make recommendations and secure reservations on short notice for some outstanding places. No notes on improvements. Everything was outstanding.
