“10/10 recommend: Felt right at home!”
This was our fourth visit to Blouberg and it turned out to be the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed at. The house is beautiful, well‑maintained, and has a relaxed vibe, just a short walk to the beach. The room was very modern, beachy style with a king‑size comfortable bed. A personal highlight for me was the great water pressure in the shower (you can’t always count on that). The bathroom was very clean and had all the amenities, including shampoo and body soap. I loved the common space downstairs, which had a fully equipped, modern kitchen and a general hangout area. The kitchen provides everything you need to cook a meal if you don’t feel like going out. I had to work during my stay, so I used the office space quite a bit. The Wi‑Fi ran perfectly stable, and even though we were about 3‑4 guests using the office daily, there was enough space inside and outside for everyone, also to take calls and have meetings. Regarding load shedding, everything ran super smoothly; there was constant Wi‑Fi, lights, and you could still cook on the gas stove. The house is only a few steps from the beach, which was perfect for us to go kitesurfing daily. The cafés & bars are close by, as well as shops, a bank, so you’re all set in that area. We felt really safe on the property and in the neighbourhood—I would also recommend it for solo female travellers. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. We will definitely be back next year.
