The free shuttle to the beach was very comfortable and punctual, the view while eating was dreamily beautiful, the food was super tasty, and the Yakota selection was great – everything was perfect.

The recent renovation left the place looking clean and fresh, the large public bath had a great setting and felt wonderful, and the front desk and other staff were very pleasant; however, everything was packed – the front desk, the dining hall, the pool – and the pool was so crowded I couldn’t get in, the restaurant line was so long that hot dishes cooled down, and the public bath was only calm when I managed to get there at 5 am. I also noticed a boy of elementary‑school age in the women’s bath, which startled my teenage daughter and made her leave, and because it was the last summer holiday the pool and other facilities were swamped, which was disappointing. Check‑out was hectic too, so after being told they would accept departures from 5 am I finally left around 7 am and was out of the hotel by 8:30 am.

The staff were enthusiastic and attentive, but the infrastructure was degraded.

The staff greeted me warmly and were courteous, and the stone‑spa, baths, and rooms were all spotless, though I couldn’t help noticing an unpleasant odor coming up the stairs leading to the pool changing rooms.
