The Arrochar Hotel, a former coaching inn, boasts stunning Loch Long views and free parking and WiFi. Situated at the foot of the Arrochar Alps, it features spacious rooms with en suite bathrooms, tea and coffee facilities, and flat-screen TVs. A traditional Scottish restaurant and cosy bar with fine malt whiskies complement its scenic location, near Arrochar Railway Station and Loch Lomond.

The room was nice with a lovely view and the breakfast was excellent, yet the rooms feel dated and could use a refurb; there’s nowhere to store toiletries in the bathroom, bottled beer and soft drinks were not cold when taken out of the fridge, and the price for 2027 has jumped 50 % with no clear justification, so I booked elsewhere.

The location is beautiful and the staff are very friendly, but the rooms need an upgrade—especially the bathrooms, where the sink was broken, and you can hear everything from neighboring rooms.

I enjoyed a great breakfast with plenty of options, and the room was clean though basic; the location was excellent and the views were perfect. However, we had to wait two hours for our key from 3 pm until 5 pm because the room wasn’t ready, and there was a shortage of cleaners.

Breakfast was good, Bar staff attentive , friendly. The room i stayed in had been cleaned however there were still stains / hairs. Poor attention to detail
