Tipolo Guesthouse

The room was small yet spotless, with a comfy bed, pillow, and nice sheets; the location was quiet, and free water bottle refills were available, plus guests could reach the ocean via the nearby Tipolo Beach Resort across the street. However, the air conditioner was noisy even with ear plugs, the unit looked old, the building was newer but the AC unit seemed borrowed from an older property, we only had one meal at the restaurant which left us unimpressed and hungry, and the pictures made us think there was a sandy beach in front, which was not the case.

“Great location for a budget stay”

I love this spot, it's quiet yet only 3 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to everything on Panangsama street, the building and facilities are new, the internet is good, and the shower is hot, but the road is harshly bumpy, though that has nothing to do with the hotel staff.

“Fijne locatie maar onderhoud aan de kamer is hard nodig”

The location is close to the Sardinerun, but the room smells like mold, the air conditioning is very dirty and needs maintenance, and the bathroom smells like urine.

Great location and we could also use the resort access; the staff were always very friendly and helpful, rooms were spartan but more than enough for me, and free water was provided, but the fan in the bathroom was turned off because it was too loud.
