“Ikke 4stjerne værd. Meget skuffende”
The reception staff were friendly and the bed was good, with a fantastic view over Central Valley, but the hotel didn’t live up to a four‑star rating. The room was extremely sparsely furnished, no phones on the balcony, TV only in Spanish with snow on the screen. One of the ceiling fans only worked with the light, so at night you could either die of heat or sleep with the light on. The restaurant served the worst and most expensive dinner I’ve ever had in Costa Rica, and the restroom in the dining area was full of other people’s poop while the staff ignored it, despite many complaints, and even went out to another one that they locked behind them.
