There was no hot water for showers, and the hygiene was not very good; the sheets had stains that looked very uncomfortable. The staff were good. Possibly adding a hot water heater would cost, but the sheets could be replaced as they look everywhere stained.

The location is strategic; stepping out a short walk gets you to Prawirotaman, and Malioboro is also nearby. Finding food is easy, with many vendors around the hotel and a market close by for breakfast. The hotel facilities could be improved further to make guests even more comfortable. The staff were very helpful and informative.
