The bed was uncomfortable.

The campsite was great and a solid base for scenic canoe trips on the lake; we stayed in one of the rooms this time. It had a bit of a youth hostel feel and was somewhat dated, but it was fine and inexpensive. The beds were okay, though there were no linens; that didn’t bother us because we brought our own sleeping bags.

The surroundings, the lake, and the excellent hiking trails were positives. The bathroom area was always clean. On the downside, the reservation was forgotten, and we had to wait in heavy rain for the key to arrive. The beds were totally uncomfortable, being extremely hard and the mattress was very thin. The house had a sweetish, urine-like smell, caused by the doormat. There was no water in the cabin.
